19 Sep 2012: Azam 8th witness testimony

After dealing with the Sayedee case, the prosecution Witness Mr. Ijabuddin Miah who is an Assistant Librarian of Bangla Academy then came to the witness box in relation to the case of Golam Azam. [7th witness is here]

On 24-4-2011 the IO has gone to the Bangla Academy library and seized 100 paper cutting report of Daily Sangram starting from 4-5-1971 to 29-11-1971. Also seized 119 paper reports of Daily Azad starting from the date 3-5-1971 to 11-12-1971. And also seized 23 paper reports of Daily Pakistan under the seizure list. The Tribunal has started recording the heading of each report by giving each of the reports a particular material exhibit number.
After an adjournment for lunch, the Tribunal started giving material exhibit numbers of some paper cuttings of ‘Doinik Shongram’ (a daily newspaper). The date stared from 8/9/71 to 29/11/71. The court mentioned each of the dates one by one and gave the exhibit numbers.
