Witness: Saint Merry’s School is situated at the western side of Goods Hill, Islamic Intermediate College is on North- Western Side, Miskin Shah’s Dorgah is situated over the hill. Malek Shah of Kutubdia’s house is also located at the same place.
Defence: Was there any Christian or Hindu community there?
Witness: At the western side of the hill there is a Christian community containing 8 to 10 rooms and a Hindu community of 1 or 2 rooms.
Defence: Is the United Chemicals Ltd. Is situated from 300 to 400 yards from the hill?
Witness: Yes.
Defence: Do you know the Motor Engineering Workshop of Abdul Jobbar?
Witness: No.
Defence: In 1971, KB Abdus Sattar Road was just adjacent to the hill and the Goni Bakery was there at the eastern side of the road, there was a big community behind the Goni Bakery.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: There were lots shops located in a parallel way beside the two sides of the road?
Witness: There were houses and few shops.
Defence: Chandanpura Mosque is 200 yards south from the Ayesha Khatun Lane of Sirajuddollah Road.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: There is a big fire station at the opposite side of the Mosque.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: The west Pakistani Police used to stay at the fire station.
Witness: I don’t know.
Defence: In 1971 there was curfew at Chittagong.
Witness: No, but there but might be curfew on the local area.
Defence: Dr. Samiruddin was an LMF doctor.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: His business was there at Khatungonj.
Witness: I don’t know. But he has business and he has also business of renting houses.
Defence: Khulshi is a luxurious area of Chittagong.
Witness: Now it is a luxurious area but in 1971 it was almost an empty place.
Defence: Chittagong Government Women’s College is situated at that area and there was a hostel.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: Ex Governor Jakir Hossain’s house was also situated at that area.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: Russian Embassy is also situated at that area.
Witness: I don’t know if it was there at 1971.
Defence: Goribullah Shah’s Majar is at the fromt of Khulshi area.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: Did Dr. Samiruddin possess any medical chamber?
Witness: No. But there was an arrangement of the check up of the poor people at his house and he has some medical equipments.
Defence: If you have taken any treatment from him?
Witness: No.
Defence: Dr. Samiruddin provided treatment to the poor people, it is not true.
Witness: Not true.
Defence: From when you know Azizuddin?
Witness: I know him since the childhood. We have read at the same school.
Defence: Azizuddin read at Chittagong College and was the supporter of Student Union.
Witness: Yes. But I don’t know if he was an active supporter of Student Union.
Defence: Can you tell till which year Azizuddin used to live abroad?
Witness: He died 3 or 4 years ago abroad. I don’t know when he has gone to abroad.
Defence: Fakhruddin is the son of first wife of Dr. Samiruddin?
Witness: I don’t know.
Defence: Azizuddin is the son of his second wife. And the names of the other brothers of Azizuddin are- Shahabuddin, Salauddin, Sirajuddin?
Witness: Yes.
Defence: If Rubi, Lutfa and Baby are sisters of Azizuddin?
Witness: I don’t know.
Defence: Can you tell the serials of the rooms where the sons and daughters of Azizuddin used to live?
Witness: No but they used to live downstairs. I can’t tell how many rooms are there at the downstairs.

Witness: I don’t know the name of his wife.

Defence: In August and September the freedom fighters of Chittagong were divided in two groups- BLF and FF.
Witness: Yes.
Defence: There was a division of KC-1 and KC-2 at the group of BLF. What is the meaning of this KC?
Witness: I don’t know.
Defence: There were two commanders at first at the total area of Chittagong, named- Dr. Mahfur Rahman and Moulovi Syed.
Witness: Dr. Mahfujur was a commander but Moulovi Syed was a student leader.
Defence: Moulovi Afsaruddin was a commander of a big group.

Defence: Among them who were under BLF and FF?
Witness: I don’t know.
